EJdesigns
Hi! I'm
Emily.
My biggest goal is your
HAPPINESS!
Seriously!
I developed a passion for interior design when I was only eighteen - mainly because I wasn't interested in heading into a math or science career. Funnily enough, interior design utilizes both math and science, but in a way that makes me energized and excited.
I love working with people - no matter their design style. And I especially love when I can help them craft a space that brings them joy or tranquility or professionalism or whatever they were envisioning. My main focus is to create a room where my clients truly feel at home, and where their personality and tastes come to life.
Emily did a fantastic job of updating a VERY outdated bathroom. She was able to consult, offer suggestions and tips of how to make our space special. Emily was also very kind and patient while I was deciding on the style of decor I wanted.

Get to Know Emily
Emily Fisher graduated with a B.S. in Interior Design from Pittsburg State University and quickly began work as an independent designer. In 2019, after almost 15 years of creating beautiful spaces with other professionals in the industry, she launched EJ Designs.
Emily is a certified Lighting Specialist, so she is gifted at choosing the correct lighting for a space and has extensive knowledge of current and classic lighting fixtures. Emily is also certified by SketchUp 3D Rendering so that she can model potential designs for her clients.
When she's not researching kitchen cabinet elements or bathroom tile designs, Emily enjoys organizing (and re-organizing) her closets, daydreaming about her days as a catamaran captain, and raising good humans.
Get to Know Kristine
Kristine Barner first fell in love with design when she worked in fashion merchandising. Patterns, colors, cuts, and accessories could be mixed and matched, and a certain piece could change an entire look. Much of interior design is the same in that regard, and she noticed that wherever she went, she was often envisioning rooms with different wall coverings, colors, flooring, fixtures, and furniture.
Kristine got her official start at David’s Interiors in Mechanicsburg, and she is overjoyed to be a part of the EJ Designs team. "I love to help people, I love to create beautiful spaces, and I love to have fun. At EJ Designs, I get to do all of that. I couldn’t feel more blessed."
When she's not rearranging furniture and finding the perfect décor accents, Kristine enjoys reading a good book, watching a documentary, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Get to Know Jenni
Since she can remember, Jenni has always loved beautiful spaces. Drawn to both architectural elegance and intelligently-designed functionality, Jenni shapes her environments - reflecting the emotions and personalities she sees in herself and others.
Though Jenni has no formal interior design training, she has spent almost her entire adult life flipping and designing homes with her husband. Emily quickly noticed Jenni's interior design abilities (and positive personality!), and created a space for Jenni to bridge passion with profession. Her honesty, loyalty, and conscientiousness foster genuine connections with everyone around her.
When she's not investigating best practices for functionality, Jenni is homesteading, traveling the country in an RV, raising chickens, or spending time with her husband and their three amazing children.
